God's call to daily communion is manifested through the people He sends our way and by places and events He leads us into. May we all have an open mind and heart to see and embrace His messages and give our praise back to our Lord.
In the midst of world economic uncertainty and my family's journey to healing, I am pausing for a while to give thanks to you Lord for being the Word that became flesh to dwell among us. Your birth was the starting point of our heavenly Father's plan for redemption. Thomas Merton’s prayer for the great unknown: “My Lord God, I have no idea where I am going; I do not see the road ahead of me; nor do I really know myself; and the fact that I think I am following Your will does not mean that I am actually doing so; but I believe that the desire to please You does in fact please You; and I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing; I will not fear for You are ever with me, and You will never leave me to face my desires alone. Amen.”
